Well, well, well. The saga of soon to be ex-Congressman John Sweeney and the NY State Police keeps getting more interesting:
De Federicis and other PBA officials said Sweeney, a former state labor commissioner, has a long-standing relationship with top State Police officials that has gained him privileges not available to the general public. For instance, they said, he had unfettered access to a private gymnasium at the State Police Academy where he worked out for several years while he was both a state commissioner and then a congressman.
