Why should we care what some shlub at some kitty-litter rag thinks about some disc we've never heard of anyway? God--it's like they've got retired city workers from Philadelphia doing this work over styrofoam cups of coffee . . .

Why should anyone care what your opinion of them is for that matter?

The subjective nature of this sort of thing is exactly what I'm attempting (humbly) to draw attention to. Bill's opinion of Joanna Newsom should be taken as seriously as mine, David Fricke's or Perez Hilton's--maybe more so. It definitely makes for good, as you said, entertainment.
