If ever Albany was in need of a festival for restoration, it's now. Looking at population statistics derived from the U.S. Census, analysts at 24/7 Wall St. have named Albany number 7 of "America's Ten Dead Cities."
...right behind Detroit, New Orleans, Cleveland, Hartford, Flint, and Buffalo.
Eh. Written by someone with a bone to pick against Albany because they're in New York state, but who's never been here.
There are so very many other cities whose stats (and the reality of living there) are worse than here. I've looked at the data.
"Analysts" is being way too kind.
